Seven year old Hanna has never spoken a word. She is the apple of her father’s eye. He is a doting and adoring father to his sweet angel. Suzette loves her daughter but things have been very difficult the last few years – babysitters won’t return and the playschool has asked Hanna to leave.
Then Hanna speaks for the first time while she is alone with her mom and what she says is chilling! Suzette wants to think it’s a scary joke but she is getting more and more frightened of being alone with her daughter. Is she in danger from her own child? Can she make her husband believe her, as Hanna is sweetness herself when they are together as a family?
Bad Apple is a wonderful debut book and I loved it from chapter one.
